Start Date:
17 July 2008
Amount Funded:

Organisation:

End Date:

The study considers the potential improvements for marine dredging in terms of environmental performance. The overall conclusion of the benchmarking exercise is that having surveyed the world fleet, technology and practices it is not possible to identify major improvements that are applicable to the English industry and that would significantly enhance the environmental performance of the English fleet. The English industry is, however, open with regards to its environmental reporting and willing to develop knowledge on enhancing environmental performance.
