Monitoring results and maps
Cefas co-ordinates the classification monitoring programme for
bivalve mollusc harvesting areas in England and Wales on behalf of
the Food Standards Agency.
This site provides free access to the E. coli monitoring
data generated under this programme. Classification of the
harvesting areas is based on this data.
The last five years' worth of data is viewable in list
and graphical format for each representative monitoring point
(RMP). Classification zone maps are also available to
view or download for each type of shellfish classified.
