Fish attractants
We discovered and patented a potent fish-feeding pheromone
called Factor X. Following this discovery, we formed a joint
venture with Kiotech to develop and promote an advanced fish-bait
attractant for the sports-fishing market.
A truly revolutionary product, Ultrabite reproduces the natural
attractions of fish pheromones to stimulate fish and encourage
vigorous feeding behavior. Factor X is the key ingredient of
Ultrabite.
Ultrabite has been assessed as environmentally and ecologically
friendly and is distributed worldwide by Rapala. Further
developments in attractants for the sports-fishing market now take
place between Cefas and Rapala directly.
This venture also resulted in the development of products to
support the rapid expansion of sustainable aquaculture worldwide.
These products are currently being registered for commercial
sale.
