Join the Network?
As an essential part of the PREMIAM programme a network of
service providers has been established so that mobilisation of
post-incident monitoring can be prompt, professional and
efficient.
The Network includes a wide range of experts and service
providers covering not only a wide range of facilities and
disciplines but also, geographically, the entire UK coastline.
Network providers include those specialising in:
- Shoreline sampling
- Coastal/offshore sampling
- Biota sampling
- Commercial species sampling
- Toxicity/biological impacts assessments
- Benthic Ecology
- Analytical chemistry
- Modelling
- Storage and transport
- General local advice
An appropriate network of responders will be mobilised and
co-ordinated as necessary during incident by the PREMIAM
co-ordination team.
